Islam Makhachev, the UFC Lightweight Champion, defends his title for the first time after claiming it against Charles Oliveira at UFC 280. Alexander Volkanovski, the UFC Featherweight Champion, moves up to the Lightweight division seeking to become a double-champ and cement himself among the all-time greats.

The co-main event features an interim UFC Featherweight bout between Yair Rodriguez and Josh Emmett, who both seek to become Volkanovski’s likely next challenger for the Undisputed championship.
