The UFC’s last PPV for the calendar year takes place from Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena on Sunday, 11 December (AEDT) with UFC 282 headlined by a vacant Light Heavyweight title bout between former Light Heavyweight Champion Jan Blachowicz and rising Russian contender Magomed Ankalaev. Paddy Pimblett, Bryce Mitchell and Darren Till are also in action.

The card was originally meant to be headlined by a rematch for the Light Heavyweight strap between Jiri Prochazka and Glover Teixeira. However, the fight was scrapped after Prochazka suffered a serious shoulder injury leading to his relinquishment of the title. Read our breakdown of the whole situation here.

The main event is now a bout for the Vacant UFC Light Heavyweight Title with the former co-main event between Blachowicz and Ankalaev elevated to the main event spot. Moving up to the co-main event spot is the “people’s main event”, a Lightweight scrap between Paddy Pimblett and Jared Gordon.
