However, Shiguemoto missed weight, leading to the fight being made a non-title main card bout.

The brother of Bantamweight Champion Aboubakar Younousov, Turpal has finished all four of his pro wins inside two rounds.

The second title fight at ARES FC 18 takes place in the Women’s Bantamweight division in a rematch between veterans Gisele Moreira and Rizlen Zouak.
