Ranked Lightweights Co-Headline UFC Austin: Dariush vs. Tsarukyan Fight Card and Start Times

UFC Austin Main Event Fighters Beneil Dariush and Arman Tsarukyan

UFC Austin takes place this weekend with two ranked Lightweight matchups in the main and co-main event. Find the UFC Austin: Dariush vs. Tsarukyan fight card and start times below.

The UFC Austin main event features a potential UFC Lightweight Championship number-one contender fight between perennial contender Beneil Dariush and highly-touted prospect Arman Tsarukyan. Dariush finds himself in a familiar position, being counted out following a tough first-round loss to former Champion Charles Oliveira in June.

After losing that title eliminator bout, Dariush will hope to bounce back against Tsarukyan, who many believe is the only man capable of beating UFC Lightweight Champion Islam Makhachev. At 27 years old, Tsarukyan is 7-2 in the UFC, with his only losses being a controversial decision loss to Mateusz Gamrot and a close decision loss to Makhachev in his UFC debut.

The UFC Austin co-main event features another ranked Lightweight matchup between Bobby Green and short-notice opponent Jalin Turner. Green has had an incredible resurgence in 2023, beginning with a submission victory over Tony Ferguson in July. He backed that up with an upset first-round knockout of streaking prospect Grant Dawson in October.

Initially scheduled to face Dan Hooker in a 5-round co-main event, Green now faces Jalin Turner in a 3-round bout. Following a five-fight finish streak that saw him make an impressive rise into the Lightweight rankings, Turner has suffered very close back-to-back split decision losses to Gamrot and Hooker. He will hope to bounce back to winning ways against Green in the UFC Austin co-main event.

The stacked UFC Austin: Dariush vs. Tsarukyan main card also features former UFC Flyweight Champion Deiveson Figueiredo making his Bantamweight debut against Rob Font, Kelvin Gastelum making his anticipated return to Welterweight against Sean Brady, and a Middleweight bout between Punahele Soriano and Dustin Stoltzfus.
