After suffering a decision loss to Dariush last October, Gamrot bounced back with a contentious split decision victory over Jalin Turner at UFC 285. The UFC Vegas 79 main event is set for an intriguing striker versus grappler matchup between Fiziev and Gamrot.
The UFC Vegas 79 co-main event features another high-level fight, with Bryce Mitchell taking on Dan Ige in a ranked Featherweight matchup. After appearing on The Ultimate Fighter 27, Mitchell established himself as a future contender but suffered a tough submission loss to Ilia Topuria in his last bout.
