In the 2023 PFL Playoff main event, Renan Ferreira takes on the experienced Maurice Greene in a PFL Heavyweight Playoff bout. Both men were slightly lucky to secure their places in the Playoffs, with Ferreira having a loss overturned to a no-contest and Greene entering the Playoffs as a replacement for Marcelo Nunes.

In the other 2023 PFL Heavyweight Playoff bout, the highly-experienced Russian Denis Goltsov takes on PFL rookie Jordan Heiderman. Goltsov has been successful in the PFL but has fallen short of reaching the PFL Final. He will hope to finally go one step further with a win over Heiderman, who made his debut mid-season and secured a first-round finish to secure a Playoff berth.

In the PFL Women’s Featherweight Division Playoffs, Larissa Pacheco takes on Olena Kolesnyk, and Marina Mokhnatkina takes on Amber Leibrock. The four women have nearly all fought each other previously due to the PFL tournament format, but 2022 PFL Women’s Lightweight Champion Pacheco is the clear favourite to win the 2023 title.
