In the KSW 85 main event, KSW Featherweight and Interim Lightweight Champion Salahdine Parnasse will hope to defend his Featherweight belt against interim KSW Featherweight Champion Robert Ruchala. The two men are considered among the best prospects and Featherweights outside of the UFC and get the chance to showcase their talents in the KSW 85 main event.

Parnasse enters KSW 85 with a remarkable record of 17-1-0, a run that has included claiming and defending the KSW Featherweight Championship and moving up the Lightweight division last November to win the KSW Interim Lightweight Championship. He avenged the only loss of his career to Daniel Torres in 2021 to claim the KSW Featherweight Championship and establish himself as one of the best fighters outside the UFC.
Across from Parnasse will be KSW Interim Featherweight Champion Robert Ruchala, who, since turning pro in 2019, has put together an undefeated record of 9-0-0. He won the interim title in March, with a fifth-round finish of Lom-Ali Eskiev. In the KSW 85 main event, Ruchala gets the opportunity to claim the undisputed belt in front of his home crowd in Nowy Sacz, Poland.

The KSW 85 co-main event features a KSW Light Heavyweight Championship bout between Champion Ibragim Chuzhigaev and undefeated finisher Bogdan Gnidko. Chuzhigaev claimed the title last year with a unanimous decision victory over Tomasz Narkun and defended the belt against Ivan Erslan. Gnidko enters his first title bout with an undefeated record of 10-0-0, with all ten wins coming inside the first round.
